Steam syncronyses the resident evil 4 backups so you have to run steam in hor-line mode then copy the backups and start the game. Once the game starts you can quit it and go back to online mode following its steam goes Ask you to download your own backup data simply said no and eventually my backup will be replaced on the steam cloud:).
